Reims Cathedral, France.

Reims Cathedral, also known as Notre-Dame de Reims, stands as a masterpiece of high Gothic architecture and holds immense historical significance. It's an unbelievable demonstration of the skill and artistry of medieval craftsmen.

Despite suffering damage during World War I, extensive restoration efforts have preserved the grandeur of Reims Cathedral, making it a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a testament to the enduring cultural and historical legacy of France.

There's an incredible amount of detail packed into this 14th century cathedral, but I loved how from this angle it seemed to simplify into a series of vertical lines.

This drawing celebrates the verticality of this architecture in addition to the interaction of light and shadow.
